#ThrowbackThursday - A Decade of Love!

It was an incredible honor when one of my dearest friends from middle school and high school approached me to capture her wedding day. Although I didn't know Chris as well, their deep connection was evident from the moment we met. I can still vividly recall our initial consultation, where they emphasized two essential elements: including their beloved son Ethan and preserving precious memories of Aubrey's father. We successfully achieved both, as Ethan has blossomed into a remarkable young man over the past decade, while the memories of Aubrey's father have become priceless treasures since his passing.

Early weddings we photograph often carry an air of unpredictability, but amidst the chaos and uncertainty, I've discovered that the love shared by the couple serves as a guiding light. This wedding marked a pivotal moment in my growth as a photographer, as it instilled in me a profound sense of responsibility in capturing not only the ceremonies but also the cherished elders and the unique love emanating from the couples and their communities. When I documented their special day on May 23rd, 2014, I knew I could deliver digital images and even a slightly dated video slideshow. However, I take great pride in having evolved to a point where I now offer full-sized wedding albums and prints, enabling these new families to hold and cherish their memories for a lifetime.

Wedding photography has evolved immensely, ranging from opulence and fantasy to intimate Polaroids and candid cell phone snapshots. Regardless of where your celebration falls on the spectrum, I believe that each memorable moment deserves to be captured. As a wedding photographer, I bring more than just my gear to the table. I bring a deep sense of celebration for your love and a commitment to crafting a visual narrative that you and your partner will treasure throughout your lifetime together.

And the value of those memories never decreased, last summer I was able to schedule a digital viewing with Aubrey and revisit the Images of her wedding day to print photos that were previously only digital renewing the magic of their vows and creating new heirlooms and visual memories for their three sons.
